Influence of recycled clay brick aggregate on the mechanical properties of concrete

چکیده

Abstract This article presents the experimental results of compressive strength, splitting tensile macro destruction mode, and microstructure recycled clay brick aggregate concrete (RBC) with different (RBA) replacement rates. The show that strength RBC are lower than those natural (NAC), but effect RBA on is not significant. water–cement ratio (w/c) smaller NAC. shows a trend first decreasing then increasing increase in rates gradually decreases w/c. AFt NAC thicker RBC, C–S–H form agglomerated networks large uniform pores less filler.
